Overview
Biking Radar is an Apple Watch app that connects to compatible Bluetooth rear-radar hardware. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Data Collection
Biking Radar does not collect, store, or transmit personal information, radar data, or Health data to external servers. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated servers.
Information Stored on Your Watch
Biking Radar stores the selected radar’s Bluetooth identifier, device name, protocol selection, and your safety-notice acknowledgement locally on your Apple Watch. This information is used only to reconnect to the selected radar and to remember your app preference.
Radar Data
Bluetooth radar data is processed on your Apple Watch to display reported vehicles and approximate distance. It is not sent to the developer or to third parties.
Health
If you choose to start a bike ride and grant permission, Biking Radar can save an outdoor cycling workout to Health. The app does not read Health data. Health permissions are controlled by you and can be changed in the Health app. Removing Biking Radar does not delete workouts already saved to Health; you can manage or delete those records in Health.
Data Retention and Deletion
The locally stored radar selection and app preference can be removed by disconnecting the radar in Biking Radar or by deleting the app. Because the developer does not receive your data, there is no developer-held account or data to request or delete.
Children’s Privacy
Biking Radar does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
